What benefits would I get from writing an autobiography? Well for one if I wrote an autobiography it would tell my descendants all about me. They would know how life was in my day and how people lived their lives now. It would say their family history and about their family. Then they would know how they were to live their lives and important stuff like that. If I become somebody famous when I grow up I would write it in my autobiography so that they know that they can do amazing stuff too. They would probably love it if they new how their old and dead relative’s lived their lives. I never know what I will do as I get older so that means I could write anything in my autobiography as much from having a normal job to being one of the richest people on earth. My descendants could do anything they want, but if I write an autobiography It would probably help them to make the right choices.

Another way is an introspection. An introspection would provide me with an opportunity to take time and see goals that I have not done yet or goals that I have not even set yet so that I can accomplish my goals or set them and then accomplish those goals. Although this does not fix it. All it does is making an opportunity for me to see goals that I can accomplish or make then accomplish goals so that I don’t become a lazy person. DO NOT BECOME A LAZY PERSON. THIS IS A STRICT WARNING. Lazy people usually become poor and get nowhere in life. that’s why it is important to pay attention in school. So do not become a lazy person but instead do introspection. Take time to accomplish goals that you may have not already in your life. These two ideas are very good ideas if you want to write an autobiography and they are also good benefits for writing an autobiography.

What can you do now to make your biography less disjointed than Twain’s? Mark Twain wasn’t his real name. It was actually Samuel Langhorne Clemens. He was born on November 30, 1835 And he died on April 21, 1910 because of a heart attack he had. He was “an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, publisher, and lecturer.” A man named William Faulkner called him “the father of American literature”. He even wrote the two famous books “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” and “The adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” My dad just loves those two books.

In the past week I have read part of Mark Twain’s autobiography and it is very disjointed. That means that it is not put together well like everything’s mixed up and going back and forth a lot. There is a movie that I watched a few times called holes and it is a good movie just very disjointed. To know what timeline it is you have to watch the movie a few times. If I ever write my own autobiography which I might I would look back in my past or journal it so it would not be disjointed. If anyone were to wright an autobiography they should find dates in their past and use them. I don’t really care about when people tell their birth to their death so if I wright an autobiography I would put in some funny and good memories about my life. I would start with a little about myself like my birth date and my death date (I would probably hire someone to write when I died). I would do my best throughout the book to keep it all from getting disjointed and to be honest the whole time because some autobiography’s are dishonest sometimes in the book. And that is how I would like my autobiography to be written if I ever write one.

Why do I think Plunkitt was so open about how he made his money? First I will tell you a few things about Plunkitt. His full name was really George W. Plunkitt. He was a millionaire and a million dollars in their time would be about a few trillion dollars in our time, but that is just a guess. He was born on November 17, 1842. He was a politician and very powerful in his time. He served in “both houses of the New York State Legislature” and was “a vehement critic of the Civil Service”. He was in charge of Tammany Hall until his death in November 19, 1924 which was strangely two days after his birthday.

I think that he was a very strange and smart person. No matter if he was in or out of office he would find jobs for people and that was how he got people to be and remain faithful in him. This is how he got all of his power many years ago. This is why I think that he was smart and kind of weird but it worked out for him. He probably thought of finding jobs for people by being kind to them. He must have been really kind to look for people and talk to them himself. He knew that Patriotism was supporting the people of the state so he used that. Patriotism is supporting ones country and he thought that the country wasn’t the land or the government but the people. He got more loyalty than most people do even when he just met them. He was probably very smart to do things like this.

Now to answer the real question of this paper that you have all been waiting for: Why do I think Plunkitt was so open about how he made his money? This answer is simple. He cared about other people. He gave them all his secrets of how to be successful just because he cared about them. As I said before he cares about people enough to find jobs for them. If he did not care about other people and just let them get poor. what kind of person would he be then? People would not vote for him and then he would become poor. He must have been very smart and kind throughout his life to be as powerful and trusted as he was. If you haven’t yet I think it would be very wise to read his autobiography.
